KAYLA PAYNE | Outreach & Interpretation Associate
Kayla Payne is Menokin's Outreach and Interpretation Associate where she will be aiding in developing interpretive programs and social media communications.
She is a William & Mary graduate with a B.A. in Art and Art History, with a concentration in studio art. She received her graduate certificate in Public History at Virginia Commonwealth University. As a longtime volunteer at the Arts Center of Montross, Kayla curated 3 exhibitions for the Arts Center, engaging with artists from the Northern Neck and beyond.
She was a Research Librarian at Westmoreland County Museum where she provided genealogical and research support to visitors while also aiding in creating exhibits. While at Stratford Hall, she worked as a Visitor Services Associate and later as Education Coordinator.
Kayla is a practicing artist in painting, printmaking, & illustration with interests in local history.
