On this tour, you’ll learn about the overarching history of Menokin and the people who lived and worked on the landscape. The tour also includes up-to-date news on the Glass House Project.
From points north, I-95 to 17 South, to 360 East, follow the brown Menokin signs to business Route 3/Main Street in downtown Warsaw, turn left on Menokin Rd, travel 4.5 miles to the Menokin National Landmark sign. Turn left onto a gravel road and follow signs to the Menokin Visitor Center.

We offer walking tours (under one mile on flat terrain) and golf cart tours. The golf cart can seat up to 5 people.

We offer free guided tours as part of the Museums for All initiative for those receiving food assistance. Individuals and families must present a SNAP EBT card and a valid form of photo ID to redeem. Free tours are available for up to four individuals per EBT card.
We offer free guided tours as part of the Blue Star Museums iniative for the nation’s active-duty military personnel and their families, including National Guard and Reserve. Qualified members must show a Geneva Convention common access card (CAC), DD Form 1173 ID card (dependent ID), or a DD Form 1173-1 ID card. The 2025 Blue Star Museums program begins on Armed Forces Day, Saturday, May 17 and ends on Labor Day, Monday, September 1, 2025.

Trails & Landscape
Menokin’s pristine historical landscape is open daily for exploration! Hike along historic tobacco rolling roads, view centuries-old ruins, and enjoy beautiful vistas across Cat Point Creek. Menokin is protected under conservation easement with the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service.
Waterways & Kayaking
Menokin’s kayak launch is free and open to the public. You may bring your own kayak or canoe to launch onto historical Cat Point Creek. June 1 through September 29, you can also rent a kayak at Menokin through our Rappahannock Outdoor Adventures partnership with the Town of Warsaw. The first one hundred paddle renters of the summer will each receive a $10 voucher good at select food establishments in downtown Warsaw.
