KEATON DRENNAN l Summer 2025 | Genealogical Research Intern
William & Mary
My name is Keaton Drennan, and I am a genealogy research intern at the Menokin Foundation. I am currently a rising senior at the College of William & Mary studying government and history.
I was born in Alexandria, Egypt, and spent most of my life there. My passion for history developed while growing up in Egypt, where I explored sites such as the Valley of the Kings and the Luxor Temple.
My concentration in genealogy developed after my grandfather introduced me to our family history, genealogy had been a long-time pursuit among my family members. I found the ability to connect descendants and ancestors and learn more about their life narratives compelling. I hope to one day pursue a career in genealogy research.
