Welcome Marc Williams to Menokin's Board of Trustees

All of us at Menokin extend a hearty welcome to Marc Williams, who has joined to Menokin Board of Trustees this month. We are very excited to have Marc’s keen insights into business in tandem with his acumen in the field of historical preservation.

Here is a bit on Marc’s background:

Marc lives in Alexandria, Virginia where he and his wife, Nancy, raised two sons, Jack and Ford, and a daughter, Bridget. He grew up in Versailles, Kentucky, a small farming community outside of Lexington. After working for several Members of Congress on Capitol Hill, Marc earned a law degree from the University of Virginia Law School in Charlottesville. He currently works in government affairs at IBM. Marc also served on the Alexandria City School Board from 2008 to 2015, where he helped oversee the management of operating and capital (building) budgets.

Marc gained his appreciation of historic preservation from his mother who served for many years on the Board of the Jack Jouett House in Versailles. He looks forward to using his experience and passion to help Menokin realize its mission.

We would like to sincerely thank our outgoing Board members via this link.
