Menokin had a game-changing year in 2025. A $1.25M award from the VA 250 Preservation Fund helped us rebuild our front doorway, and you—our generous supporters—added $422,000 in matching gifts. Thanks to this tremendous momentum, the Francis Lightfoot Lee house is more stable than it has been in three decades—and we have a further round of masonry shoring planned for 2026.

Your Support Keeps Menokin Running
This year, we began production on a documentary about our Descendant Collective, to be premiered in 2026. From the Glass House Gala to Pumpkins Illuminated, we’ve been able to provide our community with engaging programming, events, and updates surrounding the Glass House Project and Menokin’s history.
It’s our Annual Fund that keeps Menokin running every single day, supporting our operational costs, educational programming, kayaking, and more!
