Menokin is located in the beautiful Northern Neck of Virginia in Richmond County, approximately four miles north of the town of Warsaw. Guided tours are provided, starting at the Visitors Center with a 15 minute video, and ending at the Menokin ruins. Full tours last approximately 45 minutes, depending on the visitor's schedule. Visitors are also allowed to walk the trails to Cat Point Creek during normal hours of operation.
Normal Hours and Days of Operation:
From October 1 to April 30, the Menokin Visitor Center is open Monday--Friday, 10 am to 4 pm; and weekends by appointment.
From May 1 to September 30, the Menokin Visitor Center is open Monday--Friday, 10 am to 4 pm; Saturday, 10 am to 2 pm; and Sunday by appointment.

Directions to Menokin: From Richmond: Take Rt 360 East to Tappahannock. Go through town and staying on Rt 360, cross over the Rappahannock River (Downing Bridge) heading toward Warsaw. Go 4 or 5 miles or so into Warsaw. At the light take a left on Rt 3/ Main Street. Go through town of Warsaw , passing the post office. Take a left on Menokin Rd. (Rt. 690). Go straight 4 miles and turn left at the historical marker at the entrance to Menokin.
From Washington, DC/Fredericksburg: Take Interstate 95 south to Rt 17 south to Tappahannock. As you enter town, take a left on Rt 360 east, cross over the Rappahannock River (Downing Bridge) heading toward Warsaw. Go 4 or 5 miles or so into Warsaw. At the light take a left on Rt 3/ Main Street. Go through town of Warsaw, passing the post office. Take a left on Menokin Rd. (Rt. 690).
